The driving force behind Luminous, Chris entered the enchanting world of hotels as a bellman at just 15, quickly emerging as a young General Manager. 20 years later, Chris is a visionary hotelier with experience managing major events at global organisations, most recently as FIFA Guest Operations & Protocol Senior Manager, prior as cluster GM at CPG Hotels, GM at Naumi Hotels, plus a number of prestigious Australian resorts: Sails in the Desert at Ayers Rock, Longitude 131, Lizard Island, Dunk Island (GPT/Voyages), Marriott and Peppers (Mantra Group). A master in transforming spaces and fostering high-performance teams, Chris’s entrepreneurial approach centres on guest experience, through curated service. His vision for Luminous: everything you see, smell, feel and touch works harmoniously to create a truly magical experience.

RACHAEL

Director of Operations

Rachael’s impressive hotel industry background includes senior management and strategic leadership roles at prominent Australasian hotels, Tourism New Zealand and large scale events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 ANZ where she led the Guest Relations function. This followed 14 highly awarded years at Marriott International (previously Starwood Hotels & Resorts). Winner of the Front Office Award at the Australian Hotels Association Western Australia 2015 Accommodation Awards, her successes have only grown since then. Rachael’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in systems management, operational efficiency, human resources and beyond is pivotal in ensuring Luminous meets our high standards of delivery and achieves and exceeds strategic and financial goals.

Rumi’s strong background in reservations and revenue management across diverse accommodation providers complements her meticulous attention to detail and extensive expertise. Rumi has consistently helped clients to significantly increase revenue, and combined with significant experience in guest service and experience her approach ensures a focus on building loyalty for long-term engagement and success.

Our dedicated guest experience afficionado has extensive concierge experience with hotels and VIP events and was Best Concierge Nominee at the 2021 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence. Pablo delivers personalised and meticulous care and attention to ensure every guest enjoys a remarkable stay, while also managing systems, standards and rankings to the highest quality.

Is our founding 5-Star Executive Housekeeper and leads the Platinum Heroes team, with 12 years of 5-Star experience. She was a Housekeeping Staff Member of the Year finalist at the 2021 Hotel Management (HM) Awards. Her expert guidance sees our meticulously trained team delivering impeccable cleaning techniques, attention to detail and ensuring exceptional standards.
